1869 Very Scarce Date Gold, Near Uncirculated!

Here is a lovely, very scarce, 1869 gold coin. This is one of the more rare dates of this popular series. This coin is actually uncirculated with some very old light cleaning — previously it was housed in an NGC uncirculated details (cleaned) holder, but the eye appeal was so nice that I thought it made sense to get a second opinion. Keep in mind that ANACS practices net grading, meaning the AU 58 designation accounts for the problem of the cleaning. But truly— the eye appeal is spectacular with little evidence of cleaning to the naked eye.
