Description
This is an original full page ad that was printed in the "Chicago Reader" in 1972.The top shelf of the ad features David Bowie (RCA Records were promoting the Ziggy Stardust and Hunky Dory albums at this time).
The bottom shelf of the ad promotes and features small thumb nail album cover shots of albums by Nilsson, Styx, Jefferson Airplane, Main
Ingredient, The Guess Who, The Kinks. Ursa Major and John Denver.
The ad measures 11 /12 inches (left to right) by 17 inches (top to bottom).
The ad is in good overall condition, with no tears, writing, pinholes, etc.
A few slight flaws:
*There is a slight horizontal rounding crease/fold in the center of the ad, from left to right - this is how the magazine was folded originally.
*There is one creased area near the left in the middle (visible in photo 2).
*The edges, and the center creases, show some light browning or age yellowing (visible in photo 3, it is pretty light, not major.
Please take note of these flaws before bidding. Item looks nice overall, will look great if you flatten it out and frame it!
Item will be shipped, lightly folded at the center crease, in a cardboard LP mailer.
Thank you!!
