  • Condition: SEE PHOTOS. Antique, still sturdy, has wear and age as expected, but is clean and odor free, comes from a smoke free home. Well stored in a sewing room, not ever in an attic or garage. Fabric has noticed tears as shown. Cage is good, a couple of bends but minor. Finial missing on top, I covered it with a flower. Adjusts up and down in hieght, screw handle on side works but is stuck from age, does not effect the using of this. SEE PHOTOS. SEE PIX and Please, ask if you need more photos or details.     Description

    A lovely, genuine antique dress form.  Edwardian to Art Deco era.  "The Standard" dress form, a tall full body padded torso and upper hip area, with a metal cage below.  Stamped 1931 which is the model number (not the year), and "16" which would be the dress size of that era.  Set to adjust in height, can be made taller than she is here, stands about 5' 2"  right now. Stands on a very heavy and sturdy metal rolling stand so you can move it about the home or shop with ease.  I have used this over the years and taken good care of it, has wear and tear as shown.  No odors or soiling, comes from a smoke free pet free home.  Rolls about easily.  SELLING AS IS.  Some age, but these are still highly sought after even with flaws, and some prefer them with some age and character.   Missing the top final which I replaced with flowers.
    "SHE" has been with me for over 32 years, and before that was in an Irish dressmaker's shop in New England for many decades, and now resides in California with me.  Time to pass her on to a new loving home.
