Cal Ripken, Jr. - Merck Prinivil - Cup, Pad and Pen - Pharma Marketing

These are some of the accumulated items that I am in the process of putting back into circulation after a long sojourn in my basement.   Items are in excellent condition, not exposed to the sun, in a smoke free home. Wife says to sell them or take to the dump!

Before the blood pressure pill went generic, and before the pharamaceutical houses stopped distributing promotional items, Baltimore Oriole Hall of Famer Cal Ripken, Jr., was the celebrity face for Prinivil, a common blood pressure medication.  Three novelty items are included in this auction:
Plastic Drinking Cup
White plastic drinking cup, 5 inches tall and 3.25 inch diameter at the top, with a photo of Cal Ripken, Jr., on one side and the Prinivil logo on the other.
Chunky Note Pad
Still in shrink wrap, 3.5 inch cube pad has four views of Cal Ripken, Jr., on the four sides, as shown in photos.
Ball Point Pen
Pen has a cap shaped like the logo baseball cap, Prinivil logo, no mention of Ripken on this item.  I have not tried the pen, but would suspect it has dried out at this time.
