    Description

    This is an Eli Lilly Promotional Pen Knife for the Pharmacist or Doctor.  It is two bladed with one spear point and one wharncliffe blade.  The knife measures 2.75 in. closed.  The main blade is 1.5 in. long.  It is great for opening packages, envelopes or the seals on drug bottles.  There is a bail on the knife so you can tie a thin rope to it to hang around your neck or attach a lanyard to it for easy pocket access.  There is an interesting paper insert that talks about "The legend of the coin and the knife".  The coin which was part of this original promo is a penny dated 1979.
    The knife is marked, "Imperial USA Stainless" on the tang.
