includes everything you need to setup your inground dog fence, train your dog, and ensure that your dog stays safely contained in the perimeter you set.
The
transmitter
is feature rich. It can accommodate up to 10 acres, and gives you the option to change the radio frequency the system functions on (to avoid interference with any neighboring electric dog fence).
The
collar receiver
is one of the smallest and lightest available. The receiver is a mere 1.1oz. and has small enough a profile to comfortably fit a dog as small as 8 pounds. It is not only waterproof, but submersible to 10 feet.

The boundary wire included in the
eXtreme Dog Fence
with a thick 45 mil polyethylene jacket, solid core wire. It's generously coated in a light but rugged polyethylene jacket, which is direct ground burial rated, UV resistant, and designed to perform for years and years out in the elements.
The standard D.I.Y. electric dog fence is typically packaged with a thin 20 gauge wire, from the manufacturer. The coating is an inferior PVC jacket, which provides minimal protection and tends to degrade prematurely. This creates frustration when the customer has to try and dig up this degraded wire to repair or replace.

16 Gauge eXtreme Dog Fence Twisted
Twisted wire plays an important role in the function of your
eXtreme Dog Fence
. Twisting two wires together creates a neutral wire that does not activate the warning or correction on your dog's collar. The twisted wire carries the signal from your transmitter box out to the main loop, but remains neutral and therefore crossable by your dog. Without the twisted wire, your dog would not be able to cross the line that runs from your transmitter out to the boundary loop.
Trying to twist your own wire can become frustrating, especially with the higher gauge wires, as they can kink up on you, or consume your precious spool of boundary wire. After all, twisting the wire generally creates a length loss of about 1/3.
