It's covered by a thin blue protective film,
please see pic #4 for more details.
After the blue film is removed,
you may use the "lacquer thinner" to polish/clean the surface.
Be caution that the edge might be sharp while removing the film.
This is a
push-lock type cap
, please see pic #2 prior to installation.

on the sides
to release the key prior to installation.
