The set consists of: Afmpz control car, 2x 2nd class Bmpz and a 2nd class car with buffers on one side (end car)
The Railjet is a long-distance passenger train type and at the same time a vehicle type of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) and the Czech Railways (CD).
The Railjets are among the fastest locomotive-hauled trains in the world and serve destinations in Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Hungary and Slovakia.
In the meantime, some of the CD's Railjets even travel to Berlin. The first Railjet units were used in commercial operation for the first time at the 2008/2009 timetable change. Electric locomotives of the 1016/1116 and 1216 series are used as the train locomotive. The second Railjet generation is already in the starting blocks and will undertake the first test drives from 2022.
