The existence of Imperial's Pillar Flute pattern has been completely ignored by most Depression / Elegant  Glass authors.   It is hard to understand why, since this is was of the prettiest kitchen style  luncheon sets made. It is also well documented with Imperial catalog reprints. There are quite a few serving pieces to accompany the set. The pattern was made in a variety of colors and it was obviously popular in its day because there is still quite a bit of it being found at shows and flea markets. The Pillar Flute line included both a square and round luncheon plate.  There are cups and saucers, bowls in almost any size, a compote, vase, candlesticks,  sugar and creamer, sherbets, and tumblers. The prices are quite reasonable when compared to other well know luncheon sets.  This setting would make a delightful addition to your kitchen area without putting a major dent in your pocket book.
