    Description

    In-Ground Dog Fence Waterproof Splices
    These waterproof wire splices are specifically designed for underground burial. The  splices are for 14 and 16 gauge dog fence wire.
    To make a splice, strip 3/8 inch of insulation off the ends of the wire to be spliced.  Make sure to cut it back far enough to expose clean copper wire.
    Insert the stripped ends into the wire nut and twist the wire nut around the wires. Do not leave any copper exposed beyond the end of the wire nut.
    Tie a knot about 3 inches from the wire nut. Make sure the wire nut is secure on the wire splice.
    After the wires are spliced together open the end of the gel-filled capsule and insert the wire nut as far down as possible. Snap the lid securely closed.
    Make sure the splice is secure. If it pulls apart the fence won't work properly.
    Helpful Hint: Make a note of the locations of all splices for future reference. Wire breaks, if they do occur tend to be at the splice. It can save you a lot of time.

    Items displaying wear or with indications of use, i.e. pet hair, dirty, etc. cannot be returned. Wire break detectors, fence wire unwound and off the spool, opened battery packs, opened DNA kits and litter boxes are not eligible for refund.
    Expedited shipping charges (Overnight/2nd Day Air) are not refundable.
