    Description

The Kenya 10 Shillings Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Kenya in 1992. Depicted on its obverse are roses, the coat of arms of Kenya, and a portrait of the country’s second president, Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi. The reverse of the note features a diploma, graduating students in robes in front of the Kabarnet Boys High school administration building in Baringo County with trees and Mount Kenya in the background. The reverse also shows a skeleton key. The banknote contains a solid security thread and a watermark that reflects the head of a lion. It measures 140 x 72 mm and comes in a combination of green and multicolor. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
