    Description

    Greetings!  Offered for sale is Madeira size 80, 100% cotton thread in 200meter spools (app. 220yds.)  This is a very fine (small) thread that is used for French heirloom by machine. This thread is most commonly used for lace to lace, lace shaping and lace to entredeux applications as well as hem-stitching by machine. Please see pictures for more details.
    I have been an heirloom sewer and heirloom sewing teacher for about 20 years.  When teaching my classes, the supplies for heirloom sewing by machine were getting hard to find so I started stocking them for my students.  When my husband and I opened our Ebay store, it just made sense to also offer them for sale in our store.  We have been selling French Val laces, entredeux, Metler 60/2 thread and batiste fabric for several years.  This year we decided to start stocking the sewing machine needles needed for hem-stitching along with the Madeira thread.
