    Description

    Vintage medical advertising paperweight in the shape of a Phrenology Head for the anxiety drug Paxipam, which came onto the U.S. market in 1981 but was eventually withdrawn because of poor sales.
    This delightful Phrenology head is made of a heavy solid composition material in a dark brown finish with excellent detail in the indented lines that "map" the brain.
    The back is inscribed "PAXIPAM ® - (HALAZEPAM)".
    It stands almost 5" tall on a 2" by 2" base, and weighs 1 lb.
