If you need 500 feet of standard 20-gauge boundary wire, please see PIG00-11115.  If you need more wire or prefer an upgraded gauge of wire, this system allows you to select the quantity and gauge of wire that you need for your installation (wire sold separately).
The PetSafe YardMAX Rechargeable In-Ground Fence provides more room for your pets. In the YardMax Mode your pet can go up to the boundary wire. A correction is received only if he crosses the boundary. This makes it the perfect system for small or large yards. The YardMax Transmitter can cover up to  10 Acres (Wire not Included).
YardMax offers the best, most reliable pet management system for the DIY customer and maximizes the amount of usable yard for their pets.  Boundary wire is required, but sold separately.
The battery-powered transmitter helps keep your dog or cat safe even during power outages. The rechargeable YardMax® Cordless receiver collar works for most cats and dogs weighing 5 lb. or more and with a neck size measuring 6-28 in. The rechargeable collar lasts up to 3 months on a single charge and recharges in just 2-3 hours. With just a few short training sessions, you’ll create a secure boundary for your pets to enjoy the outdoors like never before.

Level #3: Mild-Moderate correction

How It Works:
In YardMax Mode, the Warning Zone begins on the other side of the boundary instead of within your yard, giving your pet more yard space. MORE ROOM to roam in Yardmax mode. Your pets can go right to the boundary wire.
The Boundary Zone in YardMax mode the collar only corrects when the dog leaves the boundary area.  It does not correct when the dog re-enters the boundary area.
Note :
There is no limit to the number of collars that can be used with a PetSafe YardMax™ In-Ground Fence System system.  Please don't attach a leash to the collar while your dog is wearing the receiver.
