Mr. Cocke from the CRP Reported
Her husband was a first Lieutenant in the 2nd Regiment of US Dragoons, and dies while in service ( 1837 ) in the Florida Campaign from disease exposure at the war camp. Since no proof was provided, the committee declines relief.
Records show that he was stationed at both Fort Heilman and also Fort Marion.
