In 1972, in London, where he went to shoot the legendary rock group T-REX, photographer Masayoshi Sukita met David Bowie and accompanied him on his world tour the following year. Since then, the relationship between the two has lasted for more than 40 years before Bowie died. Bowie is a big Japanophile and has visited Kyoto several times. One day in 1980, Sukita spent a private time with Bowie in Kyoto, but that time still remains in Sukita's heart. Sukita, who turned 82 after Bowie left, began to shoot Kyoto, which Bowie loved, in order to organize the past time and re-engrave it in his heart. It contains 174 photographs, including photographs taken by Sukita himself around the land related to Bowie.
