    Description

    This is probably the nicest example of these sleds in existence.  Several years ago I took the sled apart and painted it with Petit Easy Poxy paint (color matched perfectly) which is literally a bomb proof finish.  I reassembled it using all stainless steel screws and as you can see in the pictures the pad is in real good shape.  I elected not to refinish the cowling as I wanted to keep the graphics visible in the way they are.  This was built in 1966 by a company called Whithington out of West Minot Maine.  Wood used as I
    remember when I refinished the sled is oak.  Now for the tricky part, shipping.  I can take the entire sled apart and make a diagram of how to reassemble and number all parts so shipping is possible in several boxes but most likely won't be inexpensive, would prefer pickup.
