Eli Lilly and Company, in common with other pharmaceutical companies, provided this sort of item to Detail Men [as sales representatives were known from about the 1940s to 1975] for use as gifts in building relationships with medical professionals. Industry standards then allowed such things to have only nominal or token value; by 1975 only about .
This lot includes:
A plastic boxed Lilly 3 blade, 2 7/8 long pen knife [made in USA], 1964 penny and leaflet offered about 1965;
A cardboard & Styrofoam boxed “ELANCO” [Lilly’s animal health division] 3 blade, 2 1/2 inch long pocket knife [made in Germany] dating to about 1969-72;
A 6.5 X 5 inch cloth & Velcro packet marked Lilly containing a pad, pen, knife, and measuring tape incorporating a level [made in China] from about 1977.
All three practically as new with natural age & wear—Some color bleed through
from penny to

Refund to you via Paypal less my postage/packaging/handling cost, for this lot.
