Vintage Imperial Glass Diamond Quilted Creamer & Sugar Bowl Black Amethyst Glass

You are viewing a set of depression era Black Amethyst Glass Creamer and Sugar Bowl, rich purple color can be seen when you pass light thru edges of items (see photo). These were made by Imperial Glass in the late1920s into early 1930s, pattern is called “Diamond Quilted” and the diamond pattern is on the inside of items with a smooth
outside . Both are in very good used condition with no cracks or chips the sugar bowl does have a manufacture mark on edge which is a small indent or slit that appears to have been smoothed or finished at glass house (see last photo). Creamer stands 2 ¾” tall and 3” across top opening, 4 ½” if you include spout and handle. Sugar Bowl is also 2 ¾” high and 3” across top opening, 5” including handles. All dimensions are approximations.
There may be straw marks, shear marks, air bubbles, heavy mold seams, tool marks and/or other manufacturing markings that are inherent in glass of the era. I try to comment on these flaws if I see them.
