    Description

    VINTAGE IMPERIAL SIGNED MILK GLASS ROSES BUD VASE CIRCA 1950 TO 1970s
    This is a charming and beautiful round vase with a “Roses” motif molded into the glass.
    It was made in this lovely opal or milk colored glass by the Imperial Glass Company formerly of Bellaire, Ohio.
    It is clearly marked in the glass on the inside bottom with the “IG” Imperial Glass trademark.

    It is a nice example and gorgeous as you can see from the photos!

    Age and Condition
    This piece dates to circa 1950-1970s.
    It is in excellent mint original condition.
    Please look closely at the photos as they are an important part of my description of this item.
    There are no chips, flea bites, cracks, hairlines or repairs to the glass.
    Please keep in mind these photos may be blown up at least 8-10 times normal, so anything you see will look 8-10 times larger in the photos than it really is.
    Please note: if you see a dark spot in the photos it is from my camera and is not a mark on the piece.
    It will be either just to the right of center towards the bottom or slightly above center on the right side of the photo.
    Approximate Dimensions
    About 3” (7.6 cm) in diameter at the widest point and sits about 6.25” (15.9 cm) off the table.

    About 7.625 ounces (215 grams).

    ANTIQUE HEISEY GLASS CLEAR # 393 NARROW FLUTE 10” OVAL RELISH TRAY DISH ELEGANT
    A lovely oval celery, relish dish or tray made by the Heisey Glass Company, formerly of Newark, Ohio.
    This is made in a crystal or clear colored glass and is a very high-quality piece of pressed glass as you would expect from this company.
    It is clearly signed with a large Heisey diamond H trademark on the inside bottom.

    According the book
    Heisey’s Glassware Of Distinction
    by Mary Louise Burns on Page 30, the # 393 Narrow Flute pattern was made from 1909 to 1934.
    What appears to me to be this same relish is pictured on page 52 in the book

    by Clarence W. Vogel.
    It is described there as a 10” Oval Tray.

    There are also some age-related signs of use or wear to the inside and the underside.
