    Here is a very attractive vintage mid century pink pottery decorative apothecary jar marked "Panax Quinquefol". It measures about 10 1/4" tall and about 4 3/4" diameter at the base. It is in very good condition overall. There is a repair to the bottom edge of the lid where a wedge of pottery has been broken out and glued back into place. It is neatly done and quite inconspicuous. There is a shallow flake to the top edge of the base measuring about 1/4" across. It is covered by lid when lid is in place. There are no other chips or cracks. There is some allover crazing, done intentionally in the making. There is some wear to gold trim on lid and just a small amount of wear elsewhere. There are a few small glaze pits, done in the making. The top opening of the jar is a bit out of round, just the way it was made. The lid fits fine but you have to put it on in the right direction. The interior is clean. Looks great. Please see photos.
